Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices; early supplier engagement.
• Extensive sourcing, supplier development, and commodity management experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using our approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via scoping, trade studies and should-cost analyses.
• Drive development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM for internal and supplier ramp.
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
• Conduct value‑stream mapping to optimize lead time and flexibility.
• Complete BOM risk assessment and identify alternate sourcing.
• Ensure component qualifications are completed ahead of production.
• Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and supplier rationalization.
• Lead cost engineering to converge costs to product price and manage tariffs/cost inflation.
