Job summary

The role oversees materials planning, procurement, inventory management, supplier coordination, and supply chain initiatives to support production and business objectives. You will partner with production, quality, engineering, finance, suppliers, and other stakeholders to align material availability, improve communication, and drive lean, ERP, and automation initiatives for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain, materials management, procurement, inventory management, scheduling, logistics, or manufacturing operations experience required.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP systems, materials management tools, automation, and related process improvements; ERP implementation/optimization a plus.
• Experience using Power BI or similar data analysis tools to evaluate supply chain performance and support data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and partners.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence and cost-effective execution.
• Vendor management experience including purchase order delivery, performance follow-up, and contract initiation preferred.
• Inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, scheduling, and international logistics experience; knowledge of import/export regulations.
• APICS, PMP, CPSM or other supply chain/project management certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans with scope, objectives, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor progress and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead sourcing activities to select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and business needs.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet production demand while minimizing carrying costs.
• Lead demand planning and align materials with production schedules and business needs.
• Facilitate communication and information sharing to support timely decision-making.
• Improve materials management processes, tools, and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply lean manufacturing, automation, and ERP-related improvements to support operational excellence.
