Job summary

MarmonIEI, a Marmon Holdings company in Harrison, OH, seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to own demand planning, forecast accuracy, and replenishment across channels. You will manage MRP signals, optimize inventory, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain high service levels.

Responsibilities include developing weekly production schedules, standardizing item numbers, and producing monthly reports on inventory, lost sales, and accuracy. Strong Excel and ERP experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in inventory management and cycle counting.
• Forecasting in a high-volume, SKU-intensive environment.
• Ability to work with little oversight.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Windows-based systems.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Research and understand Halex products and packaging options by item part number.
• Determine and implement changes to inventory and layout to increase throughput and efficiency.
• Standardize item numbers and cross references in ERP.
• Monitor and manage MRP to ensure the signals are accurate for recommended orders and stockouts.
• Create and distribute Quarterly Forecast for top 80% of Halex Suppliers.
• Provide alternative solutions to minimize customer stock outs.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels at outside warehouses to meet customer demand as well as desired inventory turns.
• Develop a weekly production schedule in absence of Material Planner.
• Produce monthly reports on inventory levels, lost sales, and inventory accuracy.
• Support Global Supply Chain Manager in Sourcing activities in the identification and negotiation of suppliers as needed.
• Support and optimize inbound logistics and customs related topics.
