Job summary

Benco Dental is seeking a Director of Supply Chain in Pittston, PA, to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for five distribution centers across the United States. This executive will drive vendor sourcing, inventory management, and international sourcing strategies in collaboration with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field required; Master's/MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or logistics experience, including 5+ years leading multiple functional teams.
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, or healthcare/dental supply industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy across five distribution centers including SIOP.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and warranties with key vendors; lead reviews and optimize rebates, credits, and returns.
• Optimize inventory positioning and control across consumables, equipment, and private label lines to reduce costs and maintain in-stock targets.
• Ensure import/export compliance and develop international sourcing strategies for private label products.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent and build accountability culture.
• Own the supply chain operating budget; deliver cost savings and report metrics to senior leadership.
