Job summary

Cognite is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director for its Supply Chain CoE. You will drive growth by winning new supply chain business across a national territory, leveraging Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform.

You will lead cross-functional deal teams and present ROI-focused business cases to C-level executives. The role demands deep domain knowledge in manufacturing or energy sectors, a strong SaaS sales background, and the ability to navigate complex

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing or industrial supply chain environments.
• 7+ years of direct or in-support software/SaaS sales to C-level executives.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding SaaS bookings goals.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments (Series A, B, or C).
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted territory CoE strategy to accelerate bookings growth.
• Actively prospect and generate pipeline with compelling commercial insights.
• Lead extended territory teams through complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Quantify ROI and present business cases to executives.
• Work with partners to qualify and progress opportunities and drive joint engagements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with senior executives highlighting long-term value.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to feed field insights into strategy.
• Forecast monthly/quarterly bookings and maintain accurate Salesforce records.
