Job summary

Cognite is hiring a Business Development Director for the Supply Chain Center of Excellence. This role focuses on winning new Supply Chain business within the territory, acting as a subject‑matter expert to transform customers' value chains using Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform.

You will lead cross‑functional deal teams, engage with C‑level executives, and work closely with product and marketing to deliver market insights that drive growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing or industrial supply chain.
• Proven SaaS/enterprise software sales to C-suite.
• Experience leading cross-functional deal teams.
• Startup experience in high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted territory strategy for bookings growth.
• Generate pipeline and provide compelling commercial insights.
• Lead extended territory teams through complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Quantify ROI and build business cases for software investments.
• Collaborate with partners to qualify and progress opportunities.
• Support pricing and terms negotiations with senior executives.
• Partner with Product Management and Marketing to feed market insights.
• Forecast monthly/quarterly bookings and maintain accurate SFDC records.
