Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to oversee and optimize operations, using data analytics to drive efficiency and cost savings. You will lead a team in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain strategies, improve material availability, manage inventory planning, and report on KPIs. A bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Plus 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Plus 8 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Define performance goals with management and stakeholders.
• Use advanced quantitative methods to understand trends and enhance supply chain processes.
• Integrate multiple data sources for reporting.
• Facilitate inventory planning programs to improve material availability and reduce cash tied to inventories; manage centralized Inventory Planning for Amtrak.
• Develop models to solve supply chain problems; evaluate plans, costs, and transportation/distribution.
• Build decision support models to drive visibility and report on KPIs.
