Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Lead Materials Analyst in Philadelphia to guide daily analytics for facilities, optimize resource use, and ensure safety and reliability across rolling stock maintenance and MOW operations.

You will monitor supply chain reports, analyze material control processes, coordinate with planning, interface with stakeholders, and assist in SAP IM/eWM training, contributing to multi-year transformational work.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Prefer 8 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze supply chain reports for materials used in rolling stock repair and maintenance.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses in material control processes and recommend improvements.
• Review inventory levels and coordinate with planning for adjustments.
• Interface with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other parties.
• Support SAP IM/eWM training and warehousing activities as needed.
