Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead quality programs across multiple U.S. sites including MA, IN, FL and PA.

You will oversee supplier quality systems, process controls, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliant and capable external manufacturing partners. The role requires a minimum of 6 years in a regulated industry and at least 2 years in a managerial capacity, with strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Scientific or related technical discipline is required.
• Advanced degree in engineering/science preferred.
• 6+ years progressive experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of managerial experience.
• Experience working with Suppliers and supplier quality systems.
• Knowledge of compliance risk management and GMP/industry standards.
• Leadership in project management, problem solving, and technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality and purchasing controls with external manufacturers.
• Drive supplier performance, audits, metrics, and risk management.
• Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation of supplier quality processes.
• Provide technical quality leadership for nonconformance, CAPA, changes, and process controls.
• Partner across functions and with external manufacturers to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team through coaching and training programs.
• Support regulatory objectives through audits, supplier assessments, and inspections.
