Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field relevant to automotive manufacturing.
• 5+ years in automotive assembly, stamping, supplier quality, or related areas.
• Knowledge of automotive processes, tooling, and quality documentation.
• Experience with APQP, supplier development, and program readiness.
• Ability to investigate complex quality issues and drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supplier Quality plan and Plan-For-Every-Part for critical parts from design through tooling and production decisions.
• Execute APQP activities and program reviews with milestones, readiness criteria, and risk visibility.
• Align product design with supplier manufacturing capability to prevent changes and disruptions.
• Coordinate reviews of die-face strategy, stamping feasibility, and material utilization.
• Review supplier assembly processes to ensure plans meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GM standards and identify out-of-standard conditions early.
