Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory. You will work with cross-functional teams and interfaces for tier meetings and nonconforming material reviews.

The role requires a STEM degree with DoD clearance eligibility and experience with RCCA, ISO 9001/AS9100, and hardware inspection. Onsite, with competitive benefits and a salary range noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and five years in quality or engineering fields.
• Experience with RCCA tools and ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience inspecting hardware and reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
• DoD-related oversight experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues affecting the factory with cross-functional teams.
• Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories for tier meetings and nonconforming material reviews.
• Analyze material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans addressing top drivers.
• Investigate supplied material issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with quarantine and screening of suspect defective hardware.
