Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, onsite, is seeking a Quality professional to lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues and perform root-cause analysis. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with U.S. citizenship essential.

Candidates should have a STEM degree and experience in QA, inspections, and engineering drawings. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and robust corrective actions to ensure product quality and supplier performance in a high-stakes defense

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of related experience.
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues affecting the factory with cross-functional teams.
Analyze supplied material non-conformance data and develop action plans for top/systemic drivers.
Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of nonconformances and robust root-cause analysis.
Communicate supplied part issues to suppliers and stakeholders.
Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
