Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Supplier Management Specialist to lead strategic supplier performance across the Print Supply Chain. You will manage scorecards, contracts, and partnerships to drive quality, service, cost, and end-to-end value.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Risk Management to strengthen resilience, manage risk, and support continuous improvement. Hybrid work with remote days up to 3 per week is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis skills with ability to segment supplier performance.
• Ability to manage supplier contracts, SLAs, and governance.
• Stakeholder collaboration across procurement, legal, finance, and operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier performance with scorecards, KPIs, and reviews.
• Oversee supplier contracts lifecycle, renewals, and pricing.
• Support tender activities, RFIs, and supplier evaluations.
• Track spend, volumes, and cost trends; identify savings.
• Assess risks and support continuity plans and incident reviews.
• Ensure supplier governance and compliance with policies.
• Maintain dashboards and reports; provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to enable end-to-end supply chain.
