Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Supplier Integration Manager for the SPARC Assembly to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management within project teams embedded with engineering and manufacturing groups.

You will develop sourcing strategies for capital equipment, tooling, and services, drive contract negotiations, and monitor supplier performance to ensure internal customer needs are met in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering or supplier-focused environment.
• Experience supporting critical new product introduction activities for highly technical products.
• Deep understanding of supply chain and ERP best practices.
• Ability to negotiate complex contracts.
• Excellent communication with internal engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Customer service mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Exceptional creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, respect, attention to detail, collaboration, creativity and agility.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize purchasing processes for parts, subassemblies, and services.
• Lead sourcing projects and select value suppliers; coordinate across functions.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and statements of work with legal input.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and export controls.
• Provide clear updates to internal customers on progress.
• Coordinate planning with assigned planners in matrix organization.
• Report project status, risks, and issues to leadership; act as escalation point.
• Monitor supplier performance during contract execution with Development engineers.
• Support cost-saving, lead-time, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Define or collaborate on project procurement or commodity strategies.
• Visit suppliers for business reviews and milestone checks.
