Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, planning and supplier quality for SPARC, ARC and R&D projects. You will drive strategic sourcing, manage a high-performance team, and align with engineering and construction leaders to deliver on cost, quality, and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in supply chain in technical settings, plus proven leadership and negotiation skills. Equity and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain in highly technical environments.
• 10+ years of experience managing and developing a team.
• Experience sourcing and overseeing complex projects across multiple commodities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, support, develop and coach team members.
• Define and monitor objectives.
• Meet cost, quality and delivery targets for projects.
• Plan and assign work with engineering/construction leaders.
• Escalate and resolve issues.
• Maintain executive relationships with major suppliers.
• Drive strategic sourcing and supplier quality improvements.
• Report project status and risks to leadership teams.
• Lead business transformation initiatives.
