Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement, planning and supplier quality across SPARC, ARC and R&D projects. You’ll shape strategy, mentor leaders, and partner with engineering and construction to meet cost, quality and delivery goals.

This role demands a proven track record in complex sourcing, multi-commodity oversight, and building high-performing teams in a startup or scale-up setting, with strong collaboration at executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance or related field.
• 10+ years’ supply chain experience in a highly technical environment.
• 10+ years’ experience managing and developing a team.
• Experience sourcing and overseeing complex projects across multiple commodities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, support, develop and coach team members.
• Define, assign and monitor objectives.
• Meet cost, quality and delivery objectives for SPARC DDR, FTL and other projects.
• Plan and assign work with engineering and construction leaders.
• Escalation point to solve issues.
• Own relationships with major suppliers at executive level.
• Report on project status, risks and issues to leadership.
• Lead the execution of business transformation initiatives.
