Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Director, Supply Chain to lead procurement, planning, and supplier quality for SPARC, ARC, and R&D projects. You’ll oversee strategic sourcing, supplier development, and reliability, ensuring alignment with engineering, construction, and executive leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain within a technical environment, a history of building high-performing teams, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a related field.
10+ years of supply chain experience in a highly technical environment.
Proven track record building and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and develop the team.
Define objectives and monitor performance.
Ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets for SPARC DDR, FTL, and other projects.
Coordinate with engineering and construction to plan work and priorities.
Act as escalation point for issues and maintain executive relationships.
Manage supplier relationships and drive supplier quality improvements.
Report risk, status, and issues to leadership teams.
Lead business transformation initiatives.
