Job summary
ASML is seeking a strategic Sourcing professional for our Wilton, CT facility to manage assigned suppliers or a commodity base, ensuring world-class performance and lowest total cost. You will drive continuous improvement with current and potential suppliers and pursue opportunities from process and product changes, new technology, and risk management.
ASML Strategic Sourcing & Procurement interfaces with the supply base to ensure materials availability for factories and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, supply chain, or related fields is required; MBA or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive supplier management experience in a high-tech, international manufacturing environment (7 years with a bachelor's degree).
- Experience with sourcing and procurement of highly technical, complex engineered products.
- Proven track record in developing strong supplier relationships and executing long-term agreements.
- Experience with complex negotiations, problem solving, strategic planning and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Monitor developments in the supply base and prepare for supplier responses.
- Lead one or more Sourcing Teams and drive supplier selection activities.
- Negotiate LTSA, NPI Agreements and related contracts as needed.
- Monitor contractual compliance of suppliers and ASML.
- Drive cost and lead time reduction initiatives.
- Prepare supplier spending forecasts and monitor supplier financial health.
- Lead SAT meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams for improvements.
- Drive supply base rationalization within the commodity and close supplier quality issues.
