Job summary

Elbit America is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage subcontracts, assist buyers, and create RFPs supporting US Government and commercial customers. The role involves negotiations, tracking orders, and ensuring timely acknowledgements and performance against contracts.

Responsibilities include supporting programs with pricing and delivery data to expand the business base in a fast-paced defense and security environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation System (FARS) and its application to procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement ethics, integrity, and proper business practices.
• Ability to conduct market research and evaluate supplier capabilities and cost data.
• Experience in negotiation and contract administration with government and commercial suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontracts and provide direction for the Purchasing Department.
• Assist buyers in prioritizing materials and services for US Government and Commercial customers.
• Create Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in response to customer requirements.
• Represent the company in negotiations and track performance against prime contracts.
• Process purchase orders and ensure acknowledgements are received.
• Support programs with pricing sources and turnaround times to grow business.
