Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Manager to lead and optimize subcontract activities within a matrixed DoD-focused environment in the United States. You will review bids, manage agreements, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSR requirements across prime and subcontractor relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience and strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills to drive compliant, cost-effective contracting strategies that support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing subcontracts under Prime contracts (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, T&M).
• FAR/DFARS, NDA, TA best practices and CPSR compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP and CLM systems; data analytics or reporting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and maintain subcontract data and historical docs.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for pricing, capabilities, compliance, and history.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and address disputes or delays.
• Prepare subcontract awards, task orders, and modifications per gov't regs and Maximus policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance to align strategies.
