84 Lumber is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst – Store Finance to lead forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for its retail store operations.

You will partner with store leaders, manufacturing, sales and operations to translate complex questions into actionable insights. The role focuses on building financial models, driving budgeting processes, and delivering data‑driven recommendations to elevate store profitability and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Five to seven years of professional FP&A experience, including leading projects.
• Experience with ERP, budgeting and forecasting systems and data analysis tools.
• Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, forecasting and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis for the retail store segment.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve store financial health.
• Build financial models and scenarios to support investments and capital projects.
• Turn complex questions into clear analyses and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly performance commentary highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting for the retail store segment with store-level insights.
• Lead cross-functional projects from scoping to delivery with clear timelines.
• Visit stores to understand business firsthand and drive discussions with leaders.
• Define and improve reporting standards, KPIs, and scorecards, and drive automation.
