Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to lead FP&A for a specific business area. You will partner with sales, operations and other functions to turn complex questions into clear analyses and actionable recommendations.

You will help deliver budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting while guiding analysts and interns. You will collaborate with senior leaders and finance peers to ensure data integrity, build models and present financial insights to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
Proficient in AI tools and use.
BI/data visualization tools: MicroStrategy/Power BI/Tableau.
Project management software usage.

Responsibilities

Serve as the finance business partner for an assigned area, owning budget, forecast, reporting and analysis.
Lead cross-functional projects from scoping through delivery with timelines and stakeholders.
Structure ambiguous problems, determine analytical approach and deliver actionable recommendations.
Lead components of annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range plan.
Build financial models, business cases and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
Prepare monthly/quarterly commentary for senior management with drivers, risks and opportunities.
Provide acquisition support including valuation modeling, due diligence and integration tracking.
Define/report KPIs and scorecards; drive automation and process improvements.
Ensure data integrity across reports, models and source systems.
Mentor analysts and interns; present findings to senior finance and leaders.
