Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a Project Development Manager to lead the sales development process for large modernization and upgrade projects in industrial steam turbines.

You will identify opportunities, build engagement strategies, and manage the sales cycle from opportunity to handoff, coordinating with engineering and execution teams. The role demands engineering fundamentals, 8+ years in rotating equipment sales or related fields, strong communication, and willingness to travel 50–75%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in rotating equipment, industrial equipment sales, business development, or capital projects.
• Strong experience with industrial steam turbines, including performance, applications, and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategies to identify, qualify, and win large steam turbine modernization and upgrade projects.
• Develop compelling value propositions and business cases addressing customer needs and company growth.
• Manage the sales pipeline, including forecasting, reporting, and forecast accuracy.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships with regular engagement and market insights.
• Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth kickoff and delivery.
• Achieve sales, bookings, and revenue targets while adhering to company policies.
