Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and commission large steam turbines at customer sites across the United States. You will lead hands-on construction activities, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time completion.

A strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with experience in rotating equipment is required. Responsibilities include alignment, pre‑commissioning testing, and effective collaboration with project managers and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• 3+ years in field service with rotating equipment

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical construction of large steam turbines and related systems at new sites.
• Perform alignment, installation verification, and pre-commissioning testing.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily work logs and technical reports.
