Qualifications

• Three years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field.
• A bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Developing, awarding, and managing statewide contracts for goods and services utilized by agencies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and forecast economic conditions to guide contract actions.
• Assist in audits to ensure compliance with purchasing rules and regulations.
• Work with agencies to investigate problems with goods and to ensure vendor compliance with specifications.
• Testify at administrative reviews of vendor protests and conduct bidder conferences.
• Organize pre-bid conferences to gather end-user and vendor input and clarify requirements.
• Assist vendors with the LaGov ERP system for enrollment and solicitations.
• Oversee bidding and updating all statewide contracts in the LaGov ERP system.
• Provide training and guidance on procurement laws, policies, and procedures to agencies.
• All other duties as assigned.
