Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in procurement, contracts or grants management, financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field.
• A bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Applies the Procurement Code to perform the full range of professional procurement activities for LSU HSC New Orleans.
• Procures through specification development, solicitation, evaluation of bids, vendor selection and award to the lowest responsive vendor.
• Corresponds with vendors and staff on contract terms, pricing, deliveries, quality, and order changes.
