Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a State Government Affairs Director in Austin, TX to lead integrated state government affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.

You will translate policy developments into actionable business strategies, counsel senior leaders, and influence diverse stakeholders with clarity and credibility. You will identify opportunities and risks, drive alignment across audiences, and lead complex, high-impact initiatives with significant risk and visibility in a large manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
• Minimum of 10 years of public policy and/or government advocacy experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state government affairs strategies aligned with Dow's priorities.
• Build relationships with governors, legislators, and economic development officials.
• Advise senior leaders on legislative, regulatory, and political developments.
