Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent recognized for U.S. work authorization.
• At least 10 years in public policy or government advocacy.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state government affairs strategies aligned with Dow's priorities.
• Build relationships with governors, legislators, and officials to advance Dow's interests.
• Advise business and site leaders on legislative, regulatory, and political developments with actionable strategies.
• Represent Dow before state legislatures and regulatory bodies.
• Create a network of policymakers and stakeholders to shape outcomes and policy priorities.
• Advocate on legislative, regulatory, policy, and political issues affecting Dow and manufacturing.
• Draft and review legislative amendments and regulatory language during rulemaking.
• Coordinate advocacy across Dow sites, leaders, trade associations, NGOs, and consultants.
• Represent Dow in industry associations and shape coalition advocacy strategies.
• Promote policies for manufacturing competitiveness, energy affordability, infrastructure, workforce development, and innovation.
• Act as strategic advocate to influence future legislative outcomes in assigned regions.
• Coordinate advocacy to ensure alignment on priorities and strategies.
• Support political engagement activities with elected officials and approved programs.
