Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to organize and staff shifts across departments, ensuring coverage for every work period.

You will develop schedules, manage timekeeping and time-off requests, collaborate with payroll to ensure correct compensation, and maintain compliance with internal and external policies. You will prepare staffing reports and work with department leaders to forecast needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business, HR or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement, adjust, and maintain staff schedules, ensuring area coverage.
• Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions.
• Assume responsibility for timekeeping and time off requests.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations.
• Work with department leaders to determine positions needing to be filled.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Perform other related duties as required and directed.
