Job summary

Ascendo Resources is expanding its presence in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area and seeks a Business Development & Staffing Specialist. You will generate revenue through new business development, recruit talent, and manage client relationships across Accounting & Finance, Administrative, and HR roles.

The role emphasizes building relationships, identifying top candidates, and cross-selling to maximize revenue in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive, fast-paced with urgency.
• 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• Staffing industry experience preferred.
• BS or BA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• New business development to build relationships to generate revenue.
• Full desk model: recruiting talent, developing client relationships, and account management.
• Use techniques to build client relationships to generate job orders.
• Maintain client relationships to place candidates in permanent, temporary, temporary-to-permanent, and contract opportunities.
• Cross-sell to other lines of business to maximize revenue.
• Identify candidates through cold calling, job postings, social media recruiting, job board sourcing, and referrals.
• Placement coverage across accounting & finance, general administrative, general business, and HR roles.
