Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the client’s accounting team in Charlotte, NC. You'll analyse financial information, prepare reports, and help manage assets, liabilities, and profit and loss to drive accurate records and informed decisions.

You will develop and maintain accounting systems, compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and analyze business operations to forecast revenues and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Establishing tables of accounts and assigning entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, implementing, modifying, and documenting recordkeeping and accounting systems.
• Computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
• Developing, maintaining, and analysing budgets; preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
