Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex space programs, interfacing with customers and coordinating engineering, finance, supply chain, and legal to meet cost, schedule, and performance commitments.

You will develop detailed plans, manage risks, and ensure adherence to timelines while supporting strategy and capture efforts for new business opportunities. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in aerospace, systems, electrical, mechanical or thermal engineering or related STEM field.
• PM certification (PMP) preferred.
• Nine years (seven with MS) of progressive experience in aerospace/related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management for assigned space programs focusing on cost, schedule and performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and legal to satisfy requirements.
• Manage risks, develop WBS, and track milestones and expenditures.
• Maintain relationships with customers and subcontractors to ensure successful execution.
