Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex space program initiatives, coordinating engineering, supply chain, finance, and legal teams to ensure cost, schedule and performance commitments are met.

The role interfaces with customers and partners, manages risks, and ensures program milestones and CD requirements are tracked and delivered on time, while supporting strategy and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, systems, electrical, mechanical or thermal engineering or other STEM related scientific field.
• Master's degree in engineering or business field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as program manager for assigned space program(s).
• Manage technical, cost, schedule and risk for high dollar, high complexity programs.
• Coordinate with engineering and support functions to plan, update and execute program plans.
