Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex space programs, interfacing with customers and coordinating engineering, supply chain, finance, and legal teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance commitments.

You will manage risks, develop WBS, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive program success and growth in the Space Systems business.

Qualifications

• Nine years of progressive experience in aerospace, systems, electrical, mechanical or thermal engineering.
• Experience in technical or business project management or of small teams.
• Experience managing projects and teams for space flight hardware or technologies for U.S. Government or commercial space customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as program manager for assigned space program(s) with focus on cost, schedule and performance commitments.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance, contracts, compliance and legal to satisfy requirements.
• Develop schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS) and monitor milestones, risks, and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
