Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Outsourcing & Vendor Management to lead the outsourcing strategy and partnerships that support plant operations. You will liaise between plant leadership and external vendors, ensuring safe, cost-effective, high-quality support for manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the foundry's outsourcing strategy to support operational goals, production requirements, and capacity needs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage external partners for machining, maintenance, tooling, engineering services, temporary labor, environmental services, transportation, and capital projects.
• Evaluate make-versus-buy decisions and provide cost/quality/capacity risk recommendations.
• Lead sourcing initiatives to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase operational flexibility.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for outsourced services and strategic supplier partnerships.
• Benchmark supplier strategies and industry best practices for improvement.
• Establish SLAs and KPIs, lead vendor reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure vendors support production schedules and maintenance activities.
• Manage outsourced maintenance, repair, and reliability services to maximize equipment uptime.
• Coordinate vendor support for capital projects and facility improvements.
• Ensure contractor resources are available for planned shutdowns and maintenance programs.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor spend for cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for outsourced services and contractor spend.
• Ensure vendor safety and regulatory compliance across all activities.
