Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management to develop and execute the outsourcing strategy for the foundry, and to manage critical supplier and service-provider relationships that support manufacturing operations.

You will partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction, improve service levels, ensure safety compliance, and deliver continuous improvement through effective vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing operations, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or related disciplines.
• Experience in a foundry, metals manufacturing, casting, forging, machining, or industrial production preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing contractor relationships and outsourced services.
• Experience negotiating complex service agreements and achieving cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the outsourcing strategy to support production goals and capacity needs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage external partners for machining, maintenance, tooling, engineering services, and more.
• Lead sourcing initiatives to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase flexibility.
• Establish SLAs and KPIs; conduct vendor reviews focused on quality, delivery, safety, and cost.
• Develop vendor scorecards and performance reporting to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to align vendors with production schedules and maintenance activities.
• Lead contract negotiations, renewals, pricing discussions, and service agreements.
• Monitor vendor spend and ensure compliance with contracts; support budgeting and forecasting.
