Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation in Henderson, TN seeks a Materials Manager to lead planning, organizing and controlling the materials department, including sourcing, production, and inventory control, to ensure timely orders and on-time shipping.

You will manage ERP system (M3), BOMs, routings, forecasts, item costs and MRP parameters; build supplier relationships; monitor orders; drive continuous improvement with TPS principles; and collaborate with Central Planning to meet service level

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in materials functions in manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (TPS or similar).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to plan and execute short- and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Determine inventory investment levels and monitor compliance.
• Manage ERP data including BOMs, routings, forecasts, item costs and MRP parameters.
• Monitor order status and take action to keep production on schedule; meet service levels.
• Develop supplier relationships and coordinate with Global Sourcing on MCTO initiatives.
• Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, reporting and budget adherence.
• Organize annual physical inventory or cycle counting as directed.
• Coordinate with Central Planning to meet service level and working capital targets.
• Utilize forecast and order data to improve turns and working capital.
