Job summary

Flow Control Group seeks a Senior Buyer to lead strategic sourcing, negotiate contracts, and optimize procurement across North America. You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost improvements, and ensure supply continuity for multiple manufacturing sites.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement within manufacturing or regulated industries, with ERP/MRP and advanced Excel/Power BI skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is essential, and a strong cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Business Central, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers aligned with objectives for cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Negotiate long‑term agreements, pricing, and supply terms to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPI metrics and implement development plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to introduce new materials and suppliers.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and risks to mitigate supply disruptions.
• Provide ERP purchasing workflows, supplier management, and procurement analytics guidance.
• Develop and report procurement metrics and dashboards using Power BI or Excel.
• Ensure adequate supply across multiple sites with robust PO, blanket, transfer, and manufacturing orders.
