Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced indirect sourcing and vendor management leader to build and lead an enterprise-wide program from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CFO, this high-visibility role concentrates on indirect spend across software, services, equipment, and events.

You will design the strategy, negotiate complex vendor agreements, and leverage the franchise network to drive measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, vendor management, or category management.
• Significant hands-on experience negotiating MSAs and complex commercial agreements.
• Experience designing or scaling a supplier relationship management or supplier performance program.
• Strong negotiation skills with executive-level partner relationships (VP/C-suite).
• Experience structuring rebates, volume incentives, or performance-based terms.
• Strong financial acumen including TCO, rebate modeling, spend analysis, and business-case development.
• Experience leveraging multi-unit or franchise purchasing scale to improve terms.
• Bachelor's degree is required; CPSM/CSCP or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and formalize BrightStar Care’s enterprise vendor management and governance program, including segmentation, scorecards, QBRs/EBRs, performance expectations, and escalation processes.
• Lead negotiations across indirect-spend categories (software, SaaS, professional services, business services, equipment) with MSAs, pricing, SLAs, renewals, rebates and sponsorships.
• Leverage BrightStar Care’s franchise network to secure stronger pricing, terms, rebates, sponsorship commitments, and overall value from vendors.
• Lead vendor sponsorship and funding efforts for BrightStar Care’s conferences and major franchise events.
• Serve as the primary relationship leader for key vendors, building executive relationships and holding partners accountable for performance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, IT, and Franchise Development on vendor strategy and governance, including documentation, renewals, and records.
