Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end sourcing, develop RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, analyze supplier pricing and total cost of ownership, and support contract negotiations.

You will collaborate with Legal and business partners, manage supplier relationships, ensure policy compliance, and drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and strong vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFP/RFQ/RFI) with deadlines.
• Analyze supplier pricing, cost models, and total cost of ownership.
• Support contract negotiations with Legal and stakeholders.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and develop award recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and pursue continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contracts.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Draft agreements and onboard new vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
