Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Sourcing Manager in Kings Mountain, NC to lead the division's purchasing of raw materials, parts and services for production. You will drive lean procurement processes and supplier performance, balancing cost, quality and delivery to support manufacturing goals.

The role requires 5–7 years of purchasing/management experience and a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or materials management, with supply chain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the activities of the Division's purchase of raw materials, supplies, equipment or services.
• Establishes preferred supplier selection criteria based on price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with governmental procurement regulations.
• Interviews, selects and negotiates with suppliers; ensures purchasing strategy uses local suppliers where appropriate.
• Works with suppliers to develop and manage continuous improvement programs.
• Develops standard/automated re-order procedures and crisis management contingency programs.
• Develops and benchmarks best practices among the Division's suppliers and maintains records for evaluation.
• Ensures purchases and capital expenditures align with Division strategies and budgets.
• Integrates the Division with electronic interfacing throughout the purchasing function.
