Parker Hannifin is seeking a Division Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of raw materials, parts, and services, driving lean procurement across the division. The role has direct reports and requires strategic supplier management for cost, quality, and delivery.

You will manage import processes and ensure alignment with divisional budgets. Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in purchasing leadership, a relevant degree, and strong analytics, communication, and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years purchasing/managerial experience.
• 4 year college degree in business, engineering, or materials management with SCM certification preferred.
• Analytical and technical skills to improve processes and automation opportunities.
• Advanced computer skills and understanding of electronic processing.
• Understanding of cost accounting and practical application.
• Understanding of import processes and international logistics.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Innovator who embraces lean enterprise principles.
• Travel required, 25%.
• US Citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the Division's purchases of raw materials, supplies, equipment or services.
• Establish supplier criteria based on price, quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement programs.
• Develop pipelines with commodity managers for cost savings and risk reduction.
• Benchmark best practices and maintain supplier performance records.
• Ensure purchases align with Division strategies and budgets.
• Oversee import procurement including HTS codes and country of origin.
• Monitor landed costs and freight cost optimization.
• Oversee freight recovery and cost-effective transport using negotiated rates.
