Job summary

The Stryker Group is seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sustaining sourcing initiatives across diverse supplier bases. You will partner with internal teams to optimize costs, quality, and supply continuity while driving risk mitigation and value creation.

You will structure and execute supplier strategies, evaluate make-versus-buy options, and manage supplier performance through scorecards and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier development is expected.
• Experience with cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, supply base optimization, and spend analysis initiatives.
• Negotiation and management of supplier agreements to optimize commercial, quality, and service outcomes.
• Cost analyses, benchmarking, and make-versus-buy evaluations to support sourcing decisions.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, productivity, and value improvement initiatives.
• Monitor market conditions and industry trends to inform sourcing strategies.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and product development teams to align sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management.
