Job summary

Allient Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Strategic Sourcing and Logistics Manager to lead global supply chain initiatives and secure high-quality, cost-effective materials.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to optimize supplier performance, manage inbound/outbound logistics, and support new product introductions while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or logistics experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electronics or regulated industries is valued.
• Experience managing global suppliers and international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with growth and customer needs.
• Lead inventory planning, MRP, and S&OP and optimize supplier performance.
• Coordinate domestic and international logistics, freight, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to enable new product introductions.
• Mitigate supply chain risk and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
