Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive sourcing across logistics categories, including transportation, warehousing, and 3PL services. You will lead a team of sourcing professionals, shape category strategies, and manage strategic supplier relationships to deliver measurable cost savings and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain functions.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating procurement or sourcing teams.
• Experience sourcing logistics, transportation, freight, warehousing, distribution, or 3PL services.
• Demonstrated success delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and commercial value.
• Experience leading RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities across logistics-related categories, including transportation, freight, warehousing, and 3PL services.
• Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development support.
• Set team priorities and ensure the successful execution of sourcing strategies, category plans, and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including market assessments, RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Develop sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization, service improvements, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while monitoring performance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and spend analysis to inform sourcing decisions and category strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, and procurement to align sourcing activities with business priorities.
• Drive procurement best practices, supplier governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics portfolio.
