Exelixis Inc. is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to partner with Category Leads on complex sourcing initiatives and drive supplier performance across G&A, IT and Commercial categories.

You will coordinate with Legal, HR, Finance and Facilities, shaping outsourcing, vendor governance and risk management. The role requires advanced knowledge of drug discovery/development and proven negotiation and contract-management experience in pharma/biotech environments, with strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is required.
• Experience with RFI/RFP methodologies and contracting standards.
• Ability to lead negotiations and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Advanced understanding of drug discovery/development processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders and train on SS&P systems and policies.
• Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives and manage end-to-end SOW/contracts.
• Develop supplier segmentation and governance aligned with strategy.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and ensure ESG compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous SS&P improvements.
