TAR builds the energy infrastructure America needs. The Category Manager role in Austin owns sourcing categories end to end, shaping vendor relationships and procurement strategy for a GW-scale solar + BESS project.

Based in Austin, you will lead RFx events, contract drafting, and collaboration with engineering and construction teams to meet aggressive schedules. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cost, lead time, quality, and compliance, leveraging P2P and contract

Formación

• 5–15 years of supply chain experience with category ownership.
• Skilled in negotiation from strategy to execution.
• Experience running RFx processes.
• Comfort with contracting and commercial terms.
• Experience with P2P and contract management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own one or more sourcing categories end to end.
• Develop short and long term category strategies.
• Build vendor relationships as TAR’s owner-side counterpart.
• Run sourcing events from RFx, building bid packages, evaluating results.
• Handle one-off procurement to support needs of engineering and construction teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and software tooling for the supply chain team.
• Guide procurement specialists on sourcing approach, negotiation, and category practice.
