Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for behind-the-meter transmission infrastructure, including high-voltage lines, substations, and related equipment. You will partner with power systems engineers and energy leads to define commodity strategy, build multi-year roadmaps, and secure reliable supply at accelerated cadences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• 3+ years of global sourcing, procurement, or commodity management experience with power systems.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission equipment or energy infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with power systems engineers and energy teams to define commodity strategy and roadmaps.
• Own global sourcing end-to-end, including supplier qualification and multi-sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with pricing, volume commitments, and priority allocation.
• Use predictive analytics and demand forecasting to mitigate risks and protect build schedules.
• Lead cost leadership through value engineering and total cost of ownership optimization.
• Drive supplier innovation and co-development of advanced transmission solutions.
• Build a world-class supplier base through executive reviews and joint development projects.
• Establish KPIs for cost, quality, speed, and resilience; report to leadership.
• Mentor cross-functional teams on supply chain best practices and execution speed.
