Job summary

Rite-Hite Company is seeking a Global Category Manager to oversee category management for materials, products and services across the Global Products Organization. You will lead sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive performance for a $40M-$60M spend with a focus on cost optimization, quality, and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience, global scope ideal.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned global category spend of $40M-$60M, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and supply chain resilience.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and act as primary interface with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and business-unit Procurement to align requirements and ensure supplier qualification.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business priorities, market intelligence, and risk considerations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, payment terms, lead times, and service levels; evaluate working-capital solutions when appropriate.
• Conduct RFx and supplier evaluations to select suppliers and manage SRM and performance reviews.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and category risks across financial, geopolitical, capacity, quality, and cybersecurity aspects.
