Responsibilities

• Acts as the expert for the respective categories through understanding of industry, competition, future technologies, and innovations.
• Develops, issues, and manages RFPs to achieve savings based on targeted specs.
• Leads purchasing strategies across commodity materials.
• Negotiates corporate programs with strategic suppliers and develops new alliances.
• Participates in cost-reduction activities and monitors price increases.
• Assesses risks to suppliers and materials and recommends risk mitigation plans.
• Qualifies alternative supply sources on key products and services.
• Supports quarterly vendor reviews and external Business Reviews with vendors.
• Drives continuous transformation within the sourcing organization.
• Manages supplier relationships and ensures quality, timely delivery, and contract adherence.
• Facilitates supplier innovations in Faith designs and standard specifications.
• Works with internal resources for effective sourcing activities.
• Reviews supplies to ensure quality.
• Performs other related duties as required.
